According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Harden had a setback with his hamstring injury and will be out indefinitely. This was a huge blow for the Nets especially after Durant also left Sunday’s game against the Miami Heat with a thigh injury. If there’s one challenge the Nets have faced this season it’s the fact that they haven’t spent a ton of time together on the court, which can significantly hurt them come playoff time.

They’ve won six out of their last 10 games and are second place in the Eastern Conference standings. They even challenged the Philadelphia 76ers last Wednesday after a late fourth quarter push despite missing their superstars.
Irving was spectacular versus the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. He finished with 32 points, 8 assists and 2 rebounds along and converted crucial shots down the stretch. Irving, who has missed a couple of games this season due to personal reasons, has been the healthiest superstar among him, Durant and Harden. He’s averaging 27.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game this season.
It’s going to be interesting to see if the Nets will eventually get all their superstars back before the playoffs. They’re arguably the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference or even win the championship but the lack of on-court playing time between the three superstars might be a problem moving forward.
