Blake Griffin is far from done. The newest member of the Brooklyn Nets just responded to criticisms about his current health and concerns about his knee as he awaits clearance for him to make his debut as a member of the very stacked Nets unit. Amid recent knee issues, Griffin wants to make sure that everyone knows that he's ready to roll.

“I'm not injured at all.” Griffin said (via Kristian Winfield of the NY Daily News).

The 31-year-old has already missed a handful of games this season before he was finally shut down by the Detroit Pistons amid contract talks. His time in Detroit has been lukewarm, to say the least, and was marred by two knee surgeries last season which limited him to just 18 games in what was his last full season in the Motor City.

Now that he's joining the big three of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, a lot is expeted of the former Slam Dunk champion as they try to compete for a spot in this year's playoffs. On paper, the current line-up of the Nets looks hella scary and they've definitely struck gold in acquiring the six-time All-Star. Thing is, just as we've seen with Durant's health for the past few seasons, injuries can be a tricky thing and it might be tough for Brooklyn to compete if one or two of their superstars is on the sidelines.

That being said, Griffin's latest update should be a welcome addition to Nets fans as he tries to revive his career in Brooklyn. Once this team clicks and is 100% healthy, don't be surprised if they march their way all the way to the 2021 NBA Finals.
