The Brooklyn Nets might've lost to the Boston Celtics on Sunday night in Game 1, but Kyrie Irving stole the show with his antics towards C's fans. The guard, who dropped 39 points, flipped them off on numerous occasions and yelled some profanity at the Boston faithful, which resulted in a $50,000 fine on Tuesday.
Well, head coach Steve Nash had the perfect reaction to the drama between Irving and the Celtics supporters. His reaction says it all.

Would #Nets coach Steve Nash prefer Kyrie Irving avoid going back and forth with the #Celtics fans? “I don't care. What did the have?” Told Irving had 39 points, he smiled “I'll keep it at that.”

Good point, coach. The Nets star absolutely erupted against his former team and clearly thrived off the negative energy. He also had quite the entertaining post-game interview, absolutely roasting the Celtics fans and essentially saying he won't take all the hate from them anymore.
Unfortunately, his big night wasn't enough to propel Brooklyn to victory. Jayson Tatum's insane buzzer-beater layup gave the Celtics the win, with Game 2 scheduled for Wednesday at the TD Garden. We can certainly expect more jeers and boos. It also won't be surprising to see Kyrie go off again too, but Kevin Durant will also have to rise to the occasion after a quiet series opener where he had just 23 points. It's crucial the Nets grab a W on the road before heading back home.
