Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is having an outstanding start to the season offensively. The Greek Freak has averaged nearly 40 points through his first three games to lead the NBA in scoring. He set a new career-high with 44 points in a win against the Portland Trail Blazers.
However, his head coach, Jason Kidd, doesn’t believe the Bucks necessarily need the Greek Freak to go for 50 points a night, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Matt Velazquez.
Jason Kidd on Giannis Antetokounmpo: "We're not looking for him to score 50 a night — there will be a time he does."

Although Kidd would likely prefer a more balanced Bucks attack than one that is all Giannis Antetokounmpo, the fact of the matter is the team currently needs the Greek Freak to score due to their lack of other reliable scoring options.
Khris Middleton has had a rough start to the season, shooting well below 40 percent. Meanwhile, the Bucks will still be without their second-best offensive player, Jabari Parker, until around the All-Star break, which means the Bucks will have to make do with what they have.
Other players like Tony Snell and Greg Monroe must step up at some point, but perhaps more importantly, Antetokounmpo may have to keep his impressive scoring binge going as long as he can.
