The Boston Celtics have overcome an 0-2 start to their season to boast the best record in the league, winning eight straight games for the first time since 2010, according to radio voice Sean Grande.
This is also the first time the Celtics have owned the best record in the league since 2009.
The team has also managed to keep its defensive identity under head coach Brad Stevens, racking up 46 straight victories when keeping teams under 99 points.
Stevens has been pleased with the defensive effort, but is now focused on maximizing their opportunities at the offensive end.

It's only 10 games into the season, but Boston has started to tune in the fine aspects that usually get worked on several games in, giving them a tremendous advantage over an Eastern Conference that has shown plenty of surprises during the first three weeks.
The Celtics have been able to overcome tragedy with the loss of Gordon Hayward only minutes into his debut, rebounding from a massive loss to figure things out with the help of rookie forward Jayson Tatum and second-year wing Jaylen Brown.
