Jaylen Brown missed the Boston Celtics’ last game against the Dallas Mavericks due to an inflamed right eye. As a result, he had to wear some pretty sweet-looking glasses upon his return against the San Antonio Spurs.
Brown certainly didn’t seem to have any problem with his eyesight as he perfectly timed a putback slam right over Spurs big man Pau Gasol.

Brown would go on to finish with 15 points and five rebounds in 31 minutes of action on his return to the lineup. However, it wasn’t quite enough as the Celtics fell to the Spurs, 105-102.
In that one play, though, Brown showed what he brings to the table for the Celtics. He’s the most gifted athlete on the entire team and is capable of producing some truly spectacular plays thanks to his impressive physical gifts.
As Al Horford mentioned before, Brown is the team’s X-factor because of his physicality. He can pump the team up with the monster slams he has the ability to pull off at any given time.
Hopefully for the Celtics, Brown's eye issue is nothing serious and he can consistently provide more of those outstanding plays at least once in every game.
