Chicago Bulls rookie Denzel Valentine left Monday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks with a left sprained ankle. He played 11 minutes in the 93-91 preseason loss.

The Michigan State product was disappointed with the injury so early in his career.

The injury was not deemed serious and could only keep him out a game or two.

In Valentine's short stint on the court, he totalled four points on 2-of-5 shooting while dishing out two assists and grabbing one rebound. The forward drew praise from several local reporters.

The Bulls will face the Indiana Pacers next on Thursday. Chicago opens its regular season on Thursday, Oct. 27 against the Boston Celtics.
