The heavy minutes, the gargantuan workload, and the pressure to deliver in the playoffs all suggest that Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is one tired human being. Even LeBron himself is saying that he’s exhausted. Don’t tell that to Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey, though, as he is not buying the idea that James is running on fumes, per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
Dwane Casey on if LeBron James is tired: "No, no. All that bullcrap, he's not, no, he's not tired. Don't let him fool you."

Dwane Casey is free to believe what he wants to believe, but if James indeed has a lot of gas left in his tank, then the four-time MVP’s woeful shooting night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Cavs and the Raptors was mainly because of a rare off-night rather instead of James being gassed.
Article Continues BelowIn the Cavs’ 113-112 overtime victory over Toronto in Game 1 on Tuesday, James put up a triple-double of 26 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds, though, he had an inefficient 12-for-30 shooting line from the field (1-for-8 on 3-pointers) in 47 minutes of action.
Despite Dwane Casey’s claims, there is a reason to believe that LeBron James is starting to deal with fatigue. At age 33, James led the league in the regular season in minutes with 36.9 per contest while also playing in all 82 games. In these playoffs, he continues to spend a lot of time on the floor with 41.9 minutes of court duty through the first eight games of the postseason – the most among all players in the playoffs.
After a full day of rest, the Cavs and the Raptors will meet again for Game 2 of their series this Thursday at Air Canada Centre.
