With still a few months left before the start of this summer's free agency, there is already a lot of chatter about which team some of the big names will join. The same goes for LeBron James, who will be highly coveted and is expected to receive a lot of interest from teams around the league. There have been some former players who have given their thoughts on where he should take his talents to, and now, Kevin Garnett has chimed in on the conversation.
Appearing in his show, KG's Area 21, the former MVP made it known that he thinks The King will be better off if he takes his talents to the Houston Rockets. He argued that they are an “untapped source” and has not been touched in a long time. James will also have the opportunity to play with two superstars, James Harden, and his good friend, Chris Paul, to form their own “Big 3,” and further strengthen their chances of winning championships in the coming years.

“If I was him, I’d go to Houston. You know why I say Houston? … It’s the one untapped source that hasn’t been touched in a long time.”
Would Houston or Philly be good landing spots for LeBron James?

The Rockets are already living up to expectations so far this season, leading the Western Conference and Paul proving that he can fit in well immediately with the team. James potential addition will give them another weapon they can use apart from their efficiency from shooting beyond the arc, and strong inside play from their big men. The former four-time MVP's ability to attack the basket hard, as well as set up his teammates, will be a nightmare for their opponents and make Houston an even more difficult to beat.
It still remains to be seen if this will be the path James will take. One thing that's certain though is the outcome of this season will be a big factor in his decision. He may opt to stay in Northeast Ohio if the Cleveland Cavaliers win it all, or be lured to join the Rockets if they end up winning the title, or even just come close to it.
