At one point midway through the 2nd quarter during Friday night's Game 2 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Mavs trailed by 18 points and it looked as if Minnesota was going to even this Western Conference Finals series at one game apiece. Dallas had already done their job, winning Game 1 on Minnesota's home floor and stealing away home court advantage from the Wolves, who are looking to make their first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history. But Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks were looking to be greedy.
Slowly but surely, Dallas chipped away at Minnesota's lead, resulting in an electric 4th quarter that featured eleven lead changes. The final one, which capped off the Dallas Mavericks' third-largest postseason comeback in the last 25 years, came when Luka Doncic put Rudy Gobert — the Defensive Player of the Year — on an island at the top of the key, and not-so-politely asked him to dance.
Let's kick it to the Mavericks radio call to see what happened.
Here is the Mavs radio call of Luka’s game winner by @coopmavs on @theeagledallas. Absolutely electric call from one of the best in the business.#OneForDallas #MFFL pic.twitter.com/z1YEbrWC6e

Now look, I'd like to say that as I was watching the game, as soon as I saw Luka Doncic get that switch, I knew what was coming. In my mind, I was certainly saying, “Stepback three. Dagger. 2-0 Dallas.” But I have no proof of that. Well, some folks have the receipts.
Luka game winner is so obvious

Check the time on that tweet. JoeDaActivist might have to change his name to JoeDaClairvoyant. But he wasn't the only one who saw this coming.

And just in case anyone needed a reminder… Luka Doncic has been doing this stuff since he was a teenager playing against grown men in Europe.
Luka Doncic's game-winner tonight looked a lot like the walk-off pullup 3 he hit six years ago in Belgrade to beat Red Star with Real Madrid. pic.twitter.com/L6QzjXwbHd
