Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers is a huge fan of Dallas Mavericks rookie phenom Luka Doncic.

Rivers says Doncic is becoming one of his favorite players to watch in the NBA.

“He’s my favorite player to watch almost and not talking just rookies,” Rivers told Marc Stein of the New York Times. “First of all, he plays with a great joy — I love that. And he’s just so advanced in the way he plays. The sky’s the limit for him. Wait until he gets in shape.”

Luka Doncic has been putting on a show pretty much since day one of his NBA career. The Mavs' floor general is averaging 20.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Luka is shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 72.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Doncic, 19, has 14 double-doubles and four triple-doubles on the season. He's made the game look so easy night in and night out and is a coaches dream.

Doc Rivers and the Clippers defeated the Mavs on Monday by a final score of 121-112. Doncic, though, put on a show, finishing with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in 32 minutes. So, it's easy to see why Rivers is such a fan of the kid.
