Former NBA player and current Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Darrell Armstrong learned the hard way that when you come at Dirk Nowitzki, you best not miss.
Nowitzki, the humble 19-year veteran, made an example of Armstrong in teaching everyone not to underestimate how deadly his razz-game could be. When Armstrong ribbed Nowitzki and called him “Big Mummy,” the German shot back by exposing the dirty secret the former Most Improved Player of the Year winner is hiding inside his shoes.
DA calls me big mummy but he is working with these dinosaur toes …. 🤞 pic.twitter.com/xsGeZVdG5i

Armstrong called Nowitzki that for being one of the oldest active players in the league today, but it quickly fired back as he didn’t know Nowitzki kept a scouting report about his feet.
But here’s something I bet Nowitzki will be surprised to know: it was the same pair of feet that once kicked a 48-yard field goal in college.
Nowitzki will enter his 20th season in the NBA after averaging 14.2 points and 6.5 rebounds in 54 games last campaign.
