Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers isn't sleeping on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. The Chicago native said the Mavs not only have an elite offense but also a top-five player in Doncic.

The Clippers may be the betting favorites to win this series, but they have to be prepared for an offensive onslaught from Dallas with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis leading the charge.

Doncic, already a superstar in just his second year in the NBA, averaged 28.8 points, 9.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists for the Mavs in 61 starts this campaign. The Wonder Boy also shot 46.3 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc and 75.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Mavs haven't won a playoff series since their 2011 championship over the Miami Heat. While that drought is expected to continue against the Clippers, Doncic and the Texas squad will certainly give it their all versus Los Angeles and play freely since they have nothing to lose.

Since entering the NBA, Doncic is putting up 24.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. He has made the transition from Europe to the NBA look way too easy, and now he has the Mavs back in the playoffs after the franchise missed the postseason for three consecutive years.
