Jalen Brunson made headlines on Monday night after he led the Mavs to a 110-104 victory to take Game 2 of their first-round series. Brunson exploded for a career-high 41 points to lead the Mavs to a series-tying victory. The Mavs guard was so impressive that even Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant had to take notice.

Morant took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Brunson's red-hot evening and the Grizzlies All-Star needed just two words to express his excitement:

Brunson was indeed hooping on Tuesday night as he made sure the Mavs would not fall into a deep 2-0 hole against the Jazz. Luka Doncic was still sidelined for this one with a lingering calf injury so Brunson knew he had to step it up for his team.

Brunson also made history in this one, being just the fifth player in Mavs franchise history to score at least 40 points in a playoff game. Talk about a strong performance from the fourth-year Mavs guard. Dallas will need more of the same from him in Game 3 (and possibly beyond) with Luka still struggling with his injury. Game 4 shifts to Utah and is scheduled for Thursday night.
