Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd is proud of how his team is giving Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul a taste of his own medicine. The Mavs drew timely fouls throughout Game 4, helping them protect their lead and win 111-101. Paul was on the receiving end of several foul calls, as he eventually got booted out in the fourth quarter after his sixth foul.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Kidd couldn't help but throw some shade at Paul, who punished the Mavs early in the series with his own foul-drawing antics.

“We’re being taught by one of the best point guards ever on the other side. That’s pretty cool,” Kidd said, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Chris Paul's foul troubles certainly had a major impact on the game. He was unable to find his offensive rhythm, and he was limited in what he was able to do defensively as he tried to stay on the court.

Of course, the Mavs took advantage of the opportunity and scored as much as they can to tie the series at 2-2.

The Suns will be frustrated with the outcome and the foul woes they encountered, but as Jason Kidd mentioned, Paul and his team are very familiar with it since they are often the ones employing the same tactic. By the looks of it, the Dallas-Phoenix series is now turning out to be a battle of wits.
