Earlier reports suggested that Luka Doncic could make his playoffs debut on Sunday in Game 4 against the Utah Jazz. As it turns out, however, the Mavs superstar is still in danger of sitting out that crucial matchup.
The Mavs have announced Doncic's official status for Game 4 and unfortunately, there appears to be some cause for concern here (h/t Mavs PR on Twitter):
Luka Dončić (left calf strain) and Frank Ntilikina (illness recovery) are both questionable for Game 4 in Utah.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (left foot surgery) will remain out.

Doncic has missed all three games of the series thus far and he is now questionable to suit up for Game 4. Calf injuries can be tricky and it sounds like the Mavs are being very cautious with their cornerstone superstar — and rightfully so.

What is clear, though, is that Luka is getting closer. Barring any major setbacks, it is still very much possible that we see him in action on Sunday.
The Mavs currently hold a 2-1 series advantage over the Jazz and a win in Game 4 in Utah will put them in an excellent position to progress to the next round.
