Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic is breaking all sorts of records. The 19-year-old rookie seems to be the first to do many things as a teenager in the NBA. On Friday evening, he set the record for the youngest player ever to hit 7 threes in an NBA game.

Doncic beat out D'Angelo Russell (20 years and seven days), Brandon Jennings (20 years and 52 days) and LeBron James (20 years and 100 days) for the top spot on the list.
Doncic has impressed everyone this season with his veteran savvy. He has so many advanced offensive moves, it feels like he's been in the NBA for years. Actually, his stint of playing professionally in Europe was what prepared him for the NBA. He's so special because he didn't go through the usual route to the premier play-for-pay league in the world. Even top draft picks take time to acclimate to the league.

He could've been drafted to a poorly-run organization. Instead, he joins an already solid team with sound schematic doctrine in place.
The pick-and-roll play involving Doncic and DeAndre Jordan has been deadly. They are one of the best two-man duos in the entire NBA. Doncic can hit step-back jumpers, fadeaway threes or drive quickly with touch to the basket with ease. It's quite impressive how the two feed off each other.
Doncic is averaging 19 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists on the season while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from behind the arc.
The Mavericks are 16-17 on the season and currently sit 11th in the NBA's Western Conference.
