Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki showed off his range early on in the NBA All-Star Game after being added as a special selection by commissioner Adam Silver.
Many are wondering if this is Nowitzki's final All-Star Game, but he has yet to decide whether he'll return for another season.
Either way, it's clear that he's compiled one of the best careers in NBA history, and he's helped the Mavs achieve plenty of success since he joined the franchise back in 1998.
And Nowitzki displayed skill set very early in the All-Star game, as he connected on back-to-back 3-point attempts:

Nowitzki is someone that all NBA fans love, and despite missing many games earlier in the season due to injury, there's no doubt that he's trying to add a lot of value to the current Dallas roster.
While Luka Doncic is clearly the future of the franchise, Nowitzki has helped put the Mavs franchise in incredible shape over the years, and he's produced plenty of outstanding moments throughout his NBA career.
It will likely be a while before he decides whether he'll come back for another season, but for now, basketball fans should enjoy his greatness.
Even if he isn't the same player that he once was, he's still a difficult matchup for lots of opponents.
