Nikola Jokic went all-out for the Denver Nuggets in their playoff series against the Golden State Warriors. While they lost 4-1, no one can blame the Serbian big man for it.

Besides, Jokic actually played through an injury in Game 5 on Wednesday, during which he still put up monster numbers of 30 points, 19 rebounds and eight assists. He almost singlehandedly powered the Nuggets to victory had the Dubs' championship experienced not showed up in the clutch.

According to Nuggets coach Michael Malone, Jokic was actually dealing with hamstring tightness before the contest.

Now that certainly makes Nikola Jokic's play even more impressive. Michael Malone called his superstar a “true Warriors” for what he just showed, and it's hard to argue otherwise.

The Nuggets had some hope of coming back in the series after winning Game 4 and cutting the Warriors' lead to just 3-1. However, without his best supporting crew in Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., it was just too difficult of a task to beat a championship-experienced team like the Warriors.

Denver has to feel good that they have a player like Jokic on their side, though. With the 27-year-old MVP leading the way and the potential returns of Murray and MPJ from their respective injuries, the future looks brighter than ever for the Nuggets.
