The Detroit Pistons are slated to announce a new partnership between the organization and Flagstar Bank later today, with the team rolling out a new jersey patch embroidered with its logo for the upcoming season, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

The patch will be located in the upper left corner of the jersey, next to the collar and parallel to the new Nike swoosh, as part of being the new outfitter for the league.
The Motor City becomes the eighth franchise to adopt a sponsor after Brooklyn, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, Sacramento, Utah, and Cleveland.

As previously stated — the team will have the option to feature the patch in jerseys sold in-arena, but Nike will sell the patchless version to the general market.
