Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores doesn't think All-Star power forward Blake Griffin will pull an Anthony Davis and request a trade from the franchise.
The Pistons are really struggling right now. After losing to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday at home, Detroit fell to 21-28 on the season. The Pistons are not in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference and there have been rumblings that Blake Griffin is extremely frustrated.
Tom Gores says Griffin has every right to be upset, but that the high-flyer is committed to the organization.
#Pistons Tom Gores on concern about Blake Griffin requesting a trade, like Davis: "I know he’s committed to Detroit, to me and to us. If you see him competing, it’s because he wants to win and he believes in this. He’s only a half-season into this – so I’m not concerned at all.

Blake Griffin entered Tuesday averaging 26.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game while shooting 48.2 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from beyond the arc and 76.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Griffin, a five-time All-Star, can't become a free agent until the summer of 2021, as he signed a five-year, $171.2 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, six months before the team traded him to Detroit last season.
Anthony Davis has requested a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans. Griffin said on Monday that players have the right to do what is best for them.
The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7. Unless something drastically changes with Blake Griffin and his patience, it looks like he is going to stay in Detroit.
