The Detroit Pistons got destroyed by the Miami Heat on Wednesday in South Beach and the team can thank their dreadful performance in the second half for the loss.
The Pistons scored just 25 points in the second half, matching their lowest total in any half in the shot clock era.
Detroit put up eight points in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth. They lost by a final score of 108-74 and dropped to 34-33 on the season.

After winning five games in a row, the Pistons have dropped two-straight, with both losses coming in blowout fashion.
Detroit lost to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, 103-75.
That's two games in a row now where the Pistons just didn't even come out and compete. For a team which is trying to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016, that's unacceptable.
Detroit currently sits in the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference standings. They are now only two games ahead of the Heat.
The Pistons will look to get back in the win column on Friday when they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. All-Stars Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond need to come out in that game and set the tone from the jump. If they do that, the rest of the squad will follow their lead.
