Detroit Pistons head coach Dwane Casey is unsure if All-Star power forward Blake Griffin will be healthy for Game 1 of the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Griffin is dealing with left knee soreness and hasn't been healthy for some time now. The high-flyer didn't play on Wednesday against the New York Knicks. The Pistons were able to defeat the Knicks and clinch a playoff spot for the first time since 2016.
“I think these few days off will help, and we'll just see where he is at that time,” said Casey about Griffin, via Ian Begley of ESPN. “
Griffin had a fantastic season for the Pistons. The six-time All-Star averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Griffin recorded 21 double-doubles and two triple-doubles. The Pistons are probably going to lose to the Bucks in the first round, but they will get swept if Griffin isn't 100 percent. Hopefully, the former No. 1 overall pick can get the proper treatment before Game 1 against the Bucks starts.
Detroit finished the season at 41-41. The Bucks have one of the best players in the league in Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Pistons need Griffin to guard Giannis.
