Monday has been a day of surprises for Blake Griffin.
It was reported that the L.A. Clippers have agreed to trade him to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic and a first-round pick. It caught him in off guard, per the GIF he tweeted, and now another bomb has been dropped on him.
The five-time All-Star was rumored to have gone out with Lolo Jones before, and now it was confirmed by the track-and-field and bobsled gold medalist. However, she added that Griffin was the “worst date” she had in her life, and to add more insult to injury, she also called him a “terrible kisser,” via Imgur.
The two became an item before but their rumored romance did not take off and they have since been linked to others. Jones appeared to be dating New York Giants punter Brad Wing, while Griffin has been seen going out with Kendall Jenner.
It will certainly be interesting to see if the now-Pistons forward has something to say about the comments made by Jones. For basketball fans though, they are more intrigued by the prospect of seeing Griffin play for the Pistons and how he will perform for them, alongside Andre Drummond. Their pairing has the potential to be one of the most dominating frontlines in the league today, and if they live up to expectations, the Motor City faithful could be looking at more success coming their team’s way in the next seasons, and even possibly contend for the title.
