The Detroit Pistons are uncertain if point guard Reggie Jackson will make his scheduled preseason start after he left practice early with a sore right adductor, according to Brendan Savage of MLive.
Jackson has had a history of problems with tendinitis through his short career, including being limited to only 52 games on the floor last season as he recovered from injury.
Head coach Stan Van Gundy offered his injury this time around was not related to his prior problem.

The Pistons training staff have been careful with Jackson and Andre Drummond through this preseason, hopeful that they can keep healthy through the rigors of the regular season.
“I just want to see him and make sure he's ready to go,” Van Gundy said. “We'll see how he is tomorrow, whether or not he's going to go tomorrow night. Our original plan going into today was to play him about 12 minutes in the first half and then make an evaluation at halftime going into the second half.
“But now I don't know if the (adductor) is going to complicate that.”
The Pistons are slate to host the Charlotte Hornets in their preseason opener at the new Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday.
