The Detroit Pistons could buy out point guard Reggie Jackson after not trading him, according to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.
However, talks are being deemed as “premature” at the moment:

Jackson has appeared in just 10 games for the Pistons this season because of a serious back injury. He's averaging 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists while shooting 37.5 percent from the field, 40.4 percent from beyond the arc and 78.3 percent from the free-throw line.
The Pistons traded center Andre Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers. There were rumors about Detroit possibly moving Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard and Markieff Morris as well, but those three players are still on the team.
Jackson has been with the Pistons since February 2015. The Oklahoma City Thunder traded him to Detroit and then Jackson signed a multi-year contract with the Pistons.
For his career, Jackson averages 12.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists. He played his college ball at Boston College.
