After only getting traded to the Detroit Pistons earlier this week, it’s very understandable that Blake Griffin is still adjusting to his new teammates, coaches, and home court. That also includes the jersey he will put on now, as he dons the colors of Pistons from here on out.
However, in his debut for his new team on Thursday, Griffin had a hilarious moment where he forgot his jersey inside their locker room. He was about to start the second half but was surprised to only be wearing his white tank top after removing his warmer hoodie. Someone had to rush to get him a uniform, and caused him to miss the first play of the third quarter.

That gave some fans inside Little Caesars Arena a few laughs as what happened to the five-time All-Star is something not seen often. Griffin more than made up for it though as he had a very impressive first game for the Pistons by recording 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and more importantly, led his new team to a win against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies.
It is a dream start for Griffin with the Pistons, and if he can continue playing at a high level for them, and also show that he can co-exist with his teammates especially Andre Drummond in their frontcourt, Detroit could make a lot of noise in the Eastern Conference.
The team is currently in ninth place with a 24-26 record but with the 6-foot-10 forward's addition, it could prove to be what they just need to grab one of the last playoff spots and be a tough matchup for any of the top seeds in the first round.
