Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson has been one of the best shooters in the NBA today, especially from beyond the arc, where he has made 41.9 percent of his attempts. However on Monday, he showed off another talent that he has, and impressed the crowd, and even the commentators covering the game.

The three-time All-Star was in attendance during the baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics, and was tasked to deliver the first pitch on the afternoon. While there have been a number of other professional athletes who have failed miserably on it in the past, Thompson delivered a very impressive one, that left many in awe.

The 27-year-old comes from a family of athletes, as his dad won a couple of championships during his playing days with the Los Angeles Lakers, and also has a brother, Trayce, who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers as an outfielder. That said, it could explain why he has the right form and ability to throw that kind of pitch.

With both MLB teams from the Bay Area currently at the bottom of their divisions, Thompson's presence could turn out to be the motivation they need to play better in the future. Their pitchers might also feel some pressure that an NBA star like him can throw such pitch, which could also serve as a challenge for them to be at their best always.
