Golden State Warriors acting head coach Mike Brown has joined the discussion about the release of Lonzo Ball‘s first signature shoe with his family's Big Baller Brand.

The former Coach of the Year winner was asked during his press conference if he would ever consider buying his kids a $500 shoe from an unproven NBA player out of college. He had a huge laugh from it and made it clear he is not going to purchase them, even Ball's $200 flip flops.

Brown is now the latest member of the basketball community to speak about Ball's decision to place a very expensive price tag on his sneakers — the twitterverse had a field day after the shoe announcement was made.

Some of the league's biggest stars, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden and Stephen Curry, all have their own signature shoes from some of the more popular shoe and apparel manufacturers, but they do not even cost nearly as much as the $495 retail price of the ZO2s.

With the negative attention Ball is receiving from the release of his shoe, it can be expected that Brown will not be the last one to share his thoughts about it. It may also be a good idea for Lonzo Ball and his family to rethink their marketing strategy and drop the prices so someone actually buys the shoes.
