NBA players reacted to the injury to Klay Thompson in Game 6 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
Klay Thompson landed awkwardly on his knee after a fast-break opportunity. After grimacing in pain on the floor, he headed to the locker room and then returned to shoot the free throws with hopes of coming back. However, it was revealed later that he wouldn't be able to come back on the floor.
Veteran guard Jamal Crawford tweeted out:

Klay Thompson was seen heading out of Oracle Arena on crutches. Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers — who has had his fair share of battles with Thompson and the Warriors — was emotional in his reaction.

Ex-NBA player turned analysts Caron Butler believes that the Warriors made the right call by not putting Thompson back out.
As much as I want to see Klay on the court I feel that the @warriors made the right decision by not putting him back out there.

Evan Turner of the Portland Trail Blazers was disappointed that another player went down. Klay Thompson joined Kevin Durant, who got hit by the injury bug and was subsequently ruled out of the series.

It's definitely an unfortunate incident. However, injuries are part of the game. Thompson's injury may be a sign of wear and tear after five straight Finals appearances. But given Thompson's tenacity, we know that he'll come back stronger than ever. Klay Thompson set a high standard of play on the raw merits in this NBA Finals series. That he did so in the face of injury (in Game 3) and the Warriors' other roster limitations will elevate his place in NBA history… even without an added championship in 2019.
