Drake may have been an annoying presence on the sidelines for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, but the Canadian rapper and Toronto Raptors global ambassador knows when to show respect.

In a great act of class — unlike some Raptors fans earlier — Drake tried to console Warriors superstar Kevin Durant after the two-time Finals MVP injured his right leg during the second quarter of Game 5.

As Durant leaves the floor heading to the locker room, Drake was shown obviously frustrated with the unfortunate incident. The famed rapper then gave KD a pat on the back while seemingly saying something — perhaps some words of encouragement.

The extent of Durant's injury is yet to be determined. He has been ruled out for the rest of the game with what the team called a lower right leg injury. He left the arena in crutches and with a walking boot, with an MRI scheduled on Tuesday.

Sure enough, it' hard to see a player leave with such kind of injury. There are speculations that Kevin Durant may have injured his Achilles, but the Warriors will certainly hope that the injury is not serious.

Durant has missed nine straight games after injuring his calf in the second round against the Houston Rockets. His presence in the NBA Finals was badly needed by the Warriors, but the team can only hope now that the issue is not as serious as many fans think it is.
