Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was certainly feeling a wide range of emotions after Kevin Durant's brutal injury in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
Durant left the game in the second quarter with what the team fears was an Achilles tear, and it undoubtedly had a big impact on the Warriors for the remainder of the game.
However, Curry and company still found a way to force a Game 6, and that type of effort has them riding a ton of momentum right now.
But Curry admitted that watching Durant's injury was extremely difficult on him.

From Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic:
“I saw the look on his face and knew the situation,” Curry said. “I was tearing up, to keep it real. I put myself in his shoes for a hot second. … You can see the look on his face when he went down, you just knew (that) was it. I don’t even know what I said to him, to be honest with you, just felt like I had to go back there.”
Curry stepped his game up, and that was one of several reasons why Golden State was able to avoid elimination.
If the Warriors play with the same type of focus and effort on Thursday night, they should be able to move a step closer towards an improbable NBA Finals comeback.
