The Golden State Warriors achieved something this season that they never want to hear ever again for sure—being the team that got blown out the most. Or at least it appears so. Based on the tidbit from The Athletic's Anthony Slater, Stephen Curry and the Warriors are now the kings of lopsided losses, which got even worse after Tuesday’s 30-point defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.
The Ls look like lottery numbers.
The Warriors are kings of blowout Ls this season. Loss margins after tonight's Dallas bloodbath: 53, 39, 31, 30, 26, 26, 26, 25, 22, 22, 21.

The Warriors were expected to struggle this season after losing Klay Thompson to another serious injury. Many assumed Stephen Curry could at least lead them in the middle of the Western Conference, but there’s only so much the two-time MVP can do. Without Curry, the Warriors look like a G League squad, which has been difficult to watch all season.

Tuesday’s game was another proof as to why the Warriors have a lot of work to do if they want to build a championship team around Curry. They had multiple defensive mistakes and long scoring droughts, including an insane 28-0 dry spell. The Warriors couldn’t solve Luka Doncic's pick-and-roll brilliance, which killed the Dubs from the get-go. They allowed Doncic to put up 30 points, six rebounds, and eight assists in only 28 minutes.
Curry, meanwhile, had 27 points, a somewhat quiet night given how impressive he has been all year. The Warriors still remain in contention to make it to the play-in tournament. They have a relatively light schedule ahead against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
This next stretch of games is an opportunity for Stephen Curry and company to rake in much-needed wins and avoid getting blown out once again.
