Cristiano Ronaldo is the most recognizable star in the world but fans are going to have to get used to him wearing a new jersey. Rumors swirled the last few weeks that Ronaldo was on his way out of Real Madrid, and those were confirmed on Tuesday with the announcement he would be joining Juventus.

The transfer is complete, but NBA on TNT is still prepared that maybe he has someone else in mind that he would like to join up, the Golden State Warriors.

Maybe the Warriors are getting sick of convincing basketball players to take discounts to join their super team, and have moved on to recruit soccer stars.

Even though this wouldn't ever happen, if the Warriors wanted to get it done with their track record, they would probably have him signed by next week.

Ronaldo has accomplished every major achievement with Real Madrid and he said it was just time for a change. Via The Sun:

“The time has come to open a new stage in my life, that's why I asked the club to accept transferring me .”

Was this really a big enough challenge for him? He is still going to be the best soccer player in the world and not much is probably going to change, he will keep winning with his new club.

If he wanted a real challenge he should have thought about mastering a new sport and joining up with Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and the Warriors. If he would have been able to win with them he could then be called the greatest athlete ever.
