Steve Kerr took on his first post-game press conference since late April and did so with his characteristic sarcasm riding side by side with him.

When asked if he had a plan to stop LeBron James going on the road for Thursday's Game 3 at Quicken Loans Arena, the Golden State Warriors head coach couldn't help but sprinkle some of his humor when answering the reporter.

“We got a plan that's gonna shut him down,” Kerr joked to reporters. “We've got this great plan that's for sure gonna completely stop him.”

“I don't know what you do with him. He's one of the great players of all-time, we all know that. I think he's playing better than he's ever played and he's just one of the best. You kind of know that he's gonna dominate the game.”

James was even more dominant than in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, totaling his eighth triple-double of the season and tying the great Magic Johnson for the most triple-doubles in Finals history.

His line of 29 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists, three steals, and a block dominated the game from all areas of the floor, but didn't prove enough to notch the win on the road.

The King is bound to try and ramp up his performance even more on his home court, but it could ultimately prove futile if he doesn't get some major help from his supporting cast, which has severely let him down these last two games.

The Warriors will be happy with him stuffing the stat sheet as long as they can pull off wins on the road, since players like James are difficult to stop altogether, a team can only hope to contain him.
