Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is the greatest 3-point shooter in the world. He can make it rain threes from anywhere on the court, but there was one spot he struggled with last season.

The corner three wasn't friendly to Curry, specifically the left corner. According to NBA.com, Curry shot 25% from that spot, and in the right corner, he shot 48.4%. For his overall percentage, basketball-reference.com has him at 39.7% from the corner. That's only good for the fourth-best out of his current teammates that played with the Dubs last year.

Even if we add Klay Thompson, he might not have been the best shooter from the corner either. According to basketball-reference.com, for his career, he shoots it at 45.7%. His highest shooting year was the 2014-15 season, when he shot 52%. Last season's number one sniper from the corner outdid that.

Andrew Wiggins had the best shooting season of his career. He shot 38% from three-point range and shot 41.8 from the corner, according to basketball-reference.com. It was third best last year out of players still playing with the Warriors. Wiggins was pretty much a knockdown shooter last season, but the player who took home the corner specialist title was too.

The two players who shot the corner three the best for the Warriors last season have a great relationship with Curry. One looks up to him like an older brother, and the other is his brother by marriage.

The second-best performer from the corner last season was Damion Lee. He is a 36.4% three-point shooter for his career, but when it comes to shooting it from the corner, he was lethal. Last season he made a red hot 45% from the corner. It's safe to say this is his favorite spot on the floor. Although he outdid his older brother-in-law, one teammate destroyed him and the rest of the competition.

The final player that shot better from the corner than Curry in the 2020-21 season. Isn't his buddy Draymond Green, even though he hit a solid 37.5%, according to basketball-reference.com.

The King of the corner shot belongs to Jordan Poole, the third-year guard out of Michigan. The competition wasn't even close. Poole made more shots than he missed from his money spot. He made a ridiculous 60% of his attempts.

If you think Curry shot it more, you are correct. But if you think that's why Poole had a higher percentage, that isn't true. NBA.com says Poole and Curry made an average of 0.4 threes from the corner. Stephen Curry attempted 1.0 shots while Poole took 0.6 per game. At the rate Poole was shooting, if he tossed up as many as Curry, he might have doubled him in makes.

Poole is a 31.6% shooter from deep for his career, but when he shoots it from the corner, it's an instant heat check. That's why he is the Warriors' best corner, three-point specialist.
