The Golden State Warriors will be without forward Andre Iguodala for Thursday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to the team. He's slated to be re-evaluated after Game 1.
Iguodala suffered a left lateral leg contusion after knocking knees with Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
The veteran wing has missed the Warriors' last four games and his bone bruise has persisted, long with the inflammation of the nerve surrounding his left knee, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

Iguodala has been the default defender assigned to guard LeBron James during the team's last three meetings in the NBA Finals, with his absence dealing a giant blow to the Warriors' defense.
Head coach Steve Kerr has been clear about the nature of the injury, which will either heal on its own or not — leaving team doctors at the mercy of how Iguodala's body responds to the treatment and rest throughout the following days.
