Golden State Warriors superstar Klay Thompson appears determined to play in Game 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals regardless of his condition.
Thompson exited out of Game 2 on Sunday night after hurting his hamstring. While he was still in obvious pain, the sharpshooting guard insisted that he does not see himself missing the next game. Thompson is listed as questionable for Wednesday's contest due to a strained hamstring.
The former Washington State standout sat out most of their practice on Tuesday, and he just did some light shooting workouts. He told reporters once again that he will play through the pain. However, veteran forward Andre Iguodala gave Thompson some friendly reminder ahead of their pivotal home game.

Iguodala, who stepped up for the Warriors when Thompson went out in the fourth quarter of Game 2, said that Thompson should be a little cautious. He said that Thompson would put himself at great risk if he forces himself to play with an injured leg.
“Knowing him he's going to try, but I hope he does not put himself at too much risk,” Iguodala said via Josh Lewenberg of The Sports Network. “There's a human there and I think sometimes that's forgotten.”
Before leaving the game on Sunday, Thompson posted 25 points on 10-for-17 shooting with four 3-pointers. In Game 1, he finished with 21 markers and five rebounds for the Warriors. He has played a bigger role since Kevin Durant went down with a calf injury in the second round of the playoffs.
