According to The Athletic, after making a prolific defensive stop to seal Game 1, Klay Thompson was seen celebrating the victory. However, Warriors' veteran Andre Iguodala shut it down immediately. Thompson claims, “Then Andre (Iguodala) grabbed me and said: ‘Keep your composure!' Then I realized I needed to settle down. It's one game. We didn't come here to win one. I'm thankful for Andre's leadership. Because he came down and calmed me down. It's just one game.”

Iguodala didn't participate in Game 1 against the Grizzlies, but his presence on the sideline is detrimental to the Warriors' success. Golden State is in a good spot right now as these veterans have the experience necessary to overcome any challenges.
Between the stellar play from the superstars and the veteran leadership of the coaching staff and Iguodala, Golden State will be a legitimate threat to the Grizzlies throughout this series.
