Andrew Wiggins isn't exactly the new kid on the block for the Golden State Warriors. He's now actually on his third year with the Dubs, and he's clearly found a home in Golden State. Be that as it may, this is Wiggins' first-ever trip to the NBA Finals, and the 27-year-old can't help but cherish the moment.
Speaking ahead of what could be a title-deciding Game 6 matchup against the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, Wiggins got real about his experience thus far. The Warriors All-Star forward admits that it's been quite a ride and that he's just taking it all in:
“I feel like, every day being here, just been trying to soak it up and embracing it. It's the biggest stage. Nothing is bigger than this. I've been excited the whole time I've been here. I've been happy. I'm embracing it. I'm not taking it for granted,” said the Warriors star, via NBA on Twitter. “It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a lot of people. A lot of people don't get a chance to experience this, so I'm grateful.”

What you can say for sure is that Wiggins isn't here just to enjoy the ride, though. He's been a key part of the Warriors' success this season, and his performances in the Finals have been nothing short of amazing. So much so, that the Warriors probably won't be in the position that they're in had it not been for Andrew Wiggins.
