The Golden State Warriors have shut down as an organization, per president of basketball operations Bob Myers.

The NBA is urging its players to stay inside and away from large groups of people. Thus far, no one on the Warriors has tested positive for the coronavirus, but that could change in the coming weeks (although we are hoping it doesn't).

Bob Myers and the Warriors were actually concerned that superstar point guard Stephen Curry contracted the virus since the two-time regular season MVP was sick a couple of weekends ago. Fortunately, Steph is okay and relaxing with his family.

Curry only played in five games for the Warriors this season because of a broken left hand. Klay Thompson is missing the whole season because of his ACL tear, while Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala aren't with the team anymore.

It has been a pretty bad season for the Warriors, both on and off the court. On the court, the Dubs had the worst record in the NBA before play was suspended last Wednesday. Off the court, well no team is doing well off the court right now since everyone is worried about the coronavirus.

Once this infectious disease hopefully dies down and the NBA season comes back, the Warriors would like to use that time to develop chemistry between Curry,  Draymond Green and newcomer Andrew Wiggins. Curry has only played one game with Wiggins since the Dubs acquired the former No. 1 overall pick from the Minnesota Timberwolves in the D'Angelo Russell trade.
