Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe welcomed Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox on their ‘Undisputed' talk show to speak his mind on his season and the upcoming NBA Finals. When asked who he thought would win it all, Fox chose the Golden State Warriors in six games:

Even though he picked the Warriors, De'Aaron Fox had plenty of good things to say about their opponent, the Toronto Raptors. He acknowledged the depth and experience they have, as well as superstar Kawhi Leonard.

However, the sophomore point guard gave the edge to the Warriors and their overwhelming star power.  Even without Kevin Durant, De'Aaron Fox predicts that Curry will knock down the additional shot opportunities and the Warriors will go home with their fourth championship in five years.

De'Aaron Fox is very familiar with the Warriors and their style of play. In the regular season, the Kings lost all four games to them. This looks bad on paper, but the most the Warriors beat them by was five points. Across all four games, the point differential was only 12 points.

Given how well Sacramento played Golden State relative to its level of talent, one might think that De'Aaron Fox could be skeptical of the Warriors to a certain degree. Yet, the reality of losing four times to the Dubs gave Fox enough respect for Golden State's winning identity to pick the Warriors to win the series. Some might say that Fox is merely trying to ensure that he doesn't give the Warriors any bulletin-board material before next season, but it is hard to think Fox is consciously trying to play a long game like that. He knows and loves basketball and is simply offering his prediction on the NBA's showcase event.

De'Aaron Fox knows that his team gave the Warriors their best shot every time and fell short every time. While the Raptors are currently on a higher level than the Kings, it'll be tough for any team to beat a locked in Warriors squad that has been dominant for such a long time.
