Draymond Green is always willing to voice his opinion and the outspoken Golden State Warriors star is still upset about something from last season. Green believes the voters robbed him from the NBA's All-Defensive first team last year. Green told Logan Murdock of The Mercury News:

“I was second-team all-defense. That’s crazy…. I don’t think any voter can tell me five defensive players better than me…I’ll wait.”

Green has a point, but it's hard to argue with any of the players who were named to the first team. Maybe you can make a case that Green deserved to make it over Covington or Oladipo, but it's splitting hairs to a certain degree.

This isn't meant to take anything away from Green. The margin between the guys on the first team and the second team is so slim that it's difficult to argue for one guy over another.

But it is easy to overlook Green's production. With superstars like Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant on Golden State, they get the lion's share of the attention. That being said, Green and Klay Thompson are lockdown defenders that play a huge role in Golden State's championship success. Thompson is one of the best perimeter defenders in the game and Green is one of the most versatile defenders in the league.

Green can switch onto any position and despite his smaller stature, Green is comfortable guarding much bigger guys in the post. His defense allowed Steve Kerr to play the small ball lineups that propelled the Warriors to multiple championships.
