The Golden State Warriors earned their 29th win of the season by beating the Dallas Mavericks 114-119. With the victory, they stay half-a-game behind the Denver Nuggets for the top spot in the Western Conference standings.

Stephen Curry was unstoppable against the Mavericks, scoring 48 points on 17-for-32 shooting and 11-of-19 from deep, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists. Kevin Durant had an impressive outing as well with 28, seven, and five.

One of the most notable moments during the final minutes of the play was Durant constantly passing the ball to Curry. Despite being one of the best scorers in the league, KD decided to defer to his teammate, who was red-hot from beyond the arc.

After the game, Draymond Green praised Durant for his decision to allow Curry to take over the game.

Green, who had a dust-up with Durant a few months ago, said the little things that he does “are the plays that win championships.” He also said that Durant is really focused during this time of the season.

The Warriors are aiming to be just the fourth NBA team to win at least three straight titles. They've won back-to-back titles at the expense of Cleveland Cavaliers, who were then led by LeBron James.

Should they accomplish the three-peat, they'll be joining the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls in the elite list.

The Dubs have won four straight and are inching closer to reclaiming the top spot in the West. There are still a few months to go before playoff action, but it seems that the Warriors are starting to regain their championship form.
