The Golden State Warriors have navigated themselves to a 50-win season while dealing with multiple stars suffering injuries. The person who is heavily responsible for the team’s success is third-year guard Jordan Poole.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry missed significant time this season, and Poole successfully filled in for them in the starting lineup. This season he's averaging career highs in points, rebounds and assists.

With Curry returning to the lineup in the postseason, it's assumed Poole is heading back to the second unit. But Draymond Green isn't too certain.

“I'm not sure he goes back to the second unit,” Green told ClutchPoints. “I think that's still to be decided, and that's not an easy decision to make…It ain't my decision whether he's going back to the second unit or not, but Coach Kerr is a very smart coach and a very smart man.”

The Dubs are no stranger to playing small. A starting lineup with Poole in it could mean moving Green to the center position and Kevon Looney going to the bench.

“Just because Steph comes back doesn't mean you totally take the ball out of Jordan's hands, he's done well,” Green said.

This was the first time anyone from the Warriors mentioned anything about Poole starting when Curry returns, but now that it's been brought to the media's attention, it surely won't be the last. There's only one game left in the regular season, then Golden State will have a week before the postseason to decide on a starting lineup.
