The Golden State Warriors are looking to clinch their fourth NBA Championship over the last eight seasons Thursday night. They lead the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals three games to two. The series shifts to Boston for Game 6. Warriors superstar forward Draymond Green appeared to be sending a message to the Celtics with his arrival Thursday evening.

Green strolled into TD Garden wearing all black. It might be a stretch to think he is signifying the end of the Celtics, but knowing the Warriors star, that's not likely.
Green has gone through ups and downs throughout the NBA Finals. In the couple of losses, he has seemed lost on the court. At one point in this series, Green had as many fouls as he did points through three games (15 each). After Game 3, CJ McCollum told Green that he was picking the Celtics but he wanted it to hear it from.

That appeared to re-focus Green a bit, who responded: “That’s fine. Those Celtics will still be ringless just like you. Respect.” Since that point, Golden State's emotional leader has looked a lot more like himself.
He has stepped up his game on both ends of the floor, particularly on defense. The Celtics are struggling to get clean looks at the basket anytime Green is the primary defender. He's also done a lot of the dirty work, grabbing loose ball, ripping down rebounds and finding the open man.
If he brings that same energy and intensity to Game 6 Thursday night, it could be curtains for Boston.
