Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was the victim of a controversial ejection during Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies. After Green committed a hard foul on Brandon Clarke in the paint, the officials made the stunning decision to oust him from the game. Well, despite his Game 1 ejection, the Warriors' star has vowed that his intense style of play will never waiver, regardless of what went down on Monday, via C.J. Holmes.
Green: “I am never going to change the way I play basketball. It’s gotten me this far. Gotten be three championships, All-Stars, defensive player of the year. I’m not going to change.” https://t.co/3sqRSwLcLr

“I am never going to change the way I play basketball,” Green declared adamantly. “It's gotten me this far. Gotten me three championships, All-Stars, Defensive Player of the Year. I'm not going to change.”

There you have it, folks. If there was any concern among Warriors fans that Green may return to the series and play more passively, he's put those worries to rest with his latest comments. In fact, Green is more fired up than ever and it wouldn't be surprising to see him play with unleashed tenacity when he makes his return to action in Game 2. That's just the type of player he is.
Regarding Brandon Clarke's comments on the foul, which was deemed a flagrant 2 by the officiating crew, Green simply said he wasn't surprised by the Grizzlies' big man's remarks. The Warriors star didn't play anymore into what Clarke said, seemingly preferring to settle his scores on the court.
The Warriors ended up getting the last laugh, walking away with a road win in Game 1. Now they'll look to carry that momentum into a win in Game 2, which would force Memphis into a very unfavorable position before the series returns to California for Games 3 and 4.
