Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green finally made his season debut against the Portland Trail Blazers after missing time due to a right foot injury. After the game, head coach Steve Kerr shared his honest take regarding Green's performance in his first game back with the team, per ESPN‘s Nick Friedell.

The former Michigan State standout clearly still needs more time to ease into the team's system after a long-layoff from last season. He only played in 17 minutes and failed to tally a single point but managed to contribute four rebounds and four assists for the Warriors.

Face of the franchise Stephen Curry picked up the slack and led the team with his 26 points, eight rebounds, and five assists followed by Andrew Wiggins who scored 15 points and grabbed four rebounds. Sophomore forward Eric Paschall also served as a bright spot for the team as he chipped in 13 points and four rebounds of his own.

On the other hand, the Blazers didn't get any resistance from Dub Nation all throughout the game as Damian Lillard powered his team with 34 points and eight rebounds along with running mate C.J. McCollum who added 28 points and four rebounds. Head coach Terry Stotts and his men easily cruised to a 123-98 victory for a 3-2 record while the Warriors dropped to a 2-3 tally.

After a subpar season debut, Kerr will certainly expect more from Draymond Green as they aim to bounce back from a tough blowout loss in their coming games. The Warriors will have another shot to get back at the Blazers as the two teams go head-to-head once again on January 3.
