Draymond Green is enjoying himself in the 2022 NBA playoffs. His Golden State Warriors have the chance to sweep the Denver Nuggets tonight, he has made playoff history and he has watched all the games he can. One that caught his mind was Game 5 between the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns. More specifically, the matchup with Chris Paul and Jose Alvarado is intriguing him.

Alvarado has been a pest against Paul, though the All-Star still had a big Game 5. He also gave Alvarado a kick in the private area while shooting a jump shot. The Warriors star had done this before and gave his thoughts on the incident on Twitter.

Green has familiarity with both kicking people in the groin area and playing pesky defense, so the Paul-Alvarado matchup is practically tailor-made for him. The Warriors' star is always discussing players that are and are not cut out for the playoffs. Because of Alvarado's intensity, Green may be fond of him.

Even though Phoenix is without Devin Booker and the Pelicans are the eighth seed in the Western Conference, they are both tough opponents that would give the Warriors problems in a potential playoff series. If Golden state were to play them, it would be in the conference finals.

Draymond Green and the Warriors will host the Nuggets in Game 5 as they look to advance in the NBA playoffs.
