The newly released demo of the much-awaited NBA 2K20 video game leaked a sneak peak at what could be yet another throwback uniform for the Golden State Warriors.
The jersey appears to be the “home” version of a yellow jersey the franchise donned from 1962-64 while they were known as the San Francisco Warriors, worn by the likes of Wilt Chamberlain:

Stephen Curry could be seen wearing a very similar uniform, but in white — sporting that same bold red and blue trim that made it stand out. For what it's worth, this same uniform was also leaked through an update to NBA 2K19:

Golden State already has four uniforms lined up for the 2019-20 season, along with the customary white they wear at home, but this one could be one of those unique and nostalgic throwbacks to honor the city they will soon move into:

Considering they already have a new uniform that reads “The Bay” across the chest, honoring both Oakland and San Francisco, this leaked iteration of their throwback uniforms could be one worn through a limited number of games for commemorative purposes.
It's likely we won't know if the Warriors will sport these new threads until the team makes an official announcement. Here's hoping Golden State can honor its past with this sweet throwback garb.
